Have you tried Periscope? Apple released it’s best apps of 2015 today and Periscope TV received the top spot as “App of the Year“. This will come as no surprise to those of us that have become obsessed with Periscope. Considering it just released in march of this year, it’s growth has been huge with over 10 million downloads of the app so far. Periscope isn’t the first app to offer live video streams but none of the others have reached this level of popularity. It will be interesting to see if Facebook’s version of live broadcasting, called Facebook Live, will have any impact on the success of Periscope. Time will tell. Personally, I can’t imagine another app having the ease of use that Periscope has. Given what I know of Facebook on the web and mobile, theirs will not be as user-friendly.
If you haven’t tried Periscope yet, what are you waiting for? Download the app and give us a follow! For more info on how to get started read this. Check this one for my top picks of who to follow. If you are watching broadcasts on your computer, I would definitely recommend you use the app. It’s easier to use and allows you to comment and give hearts as well, making you part of the conversation.
I can’t wait to see the creative ways Periscope will be used in the near future as a source for social media, information, and marketing.

The fall season is in full swing here at Walt Disney World Florida. You’d never know from the weather since temperatures are hot as ever, but there are other signs. Spring Break is starting and the holiday crowds make navigating the parks a real challenge. There are some people who only visit Disney World during high crowd times and assume it’s part of the Disney experience. It really is not. All though attendance has only gone up over the last several years, there are times when…
I’ve got a news flash for you. Are you ready? Disney World is in Florida. And Florida is….. hot. What? I know right?! What kind of crazy talk is this? Believe it or not, when I announced I was moving to Orlando I had many well-meaning people inform me of this fact with the type…
When you get the Platinum Premium Annual Pass (that is a ridiculous mouthful! Can’t they just call it Gold, Silver, Bronze or something?) it includes your PhotoPass pictures. That means anytime you pose for a PP photographer, they will scan your magic band. You can then view that picture on your “My Disney Experience” app….
It’s Spring time here at Walt Disney World! The weather has been so incredible. I really try hard not to brag about it too much so all my friends and family living in the cold north don’t hate me. But honestly, February and March has been the best time to be Living by Disney. (see…
