Have you tried Periscope? Apple released it’s best apps of 2015 today and Periscope TV received the top spot as “App of the Year“. This will come as no surprise to those of us that have become obsessed with Periscope. Considering it just released in march of this year, it’s growth has been huge with over 10 million downloads of the app so far. Periscope isn’t the first app to offer live video streams but none of the others have reached this level of popularity. It will be interesting to see if Facebook’s version of live broadcasting, called Facebook Live, will have any impact on the success of Periscope. Time will tell. Personally, I can’t imagine another app having the ease of use that Periscope has. Given what I know of Facebook on the web and mobile, theirs will not be as user-friendly.
If you haven’t tried Periscope yet, what are you waiting for? Download the app and give us a follow! For more info on how to get started read this. Check this one for my top picks of who to follow. If you are watching broadcasts on your computer, I would definitely recommend you use the app. It’s easier to use and allows you to comment and give hearts as well, making you part of the conversation.
I can’t wait to see the creative ways Periscope will be used in the near future as a source for social media, information, and marketing.

We all know there’s a lot of good restaurants in Disney World, Florida. And the fact is, it doesn’t matter which restaurant I named, there would be someone who was a big fan of it, and someone else who’d rant about what a waste of space it is. However, when you’re planning a trip, most of…
This morning Disney Parks Blog was certainly busy, announcing many opening dates that we have all been waiting for. A few weeks ago they launched their Awaken Summer press event and showcased some of the attractions and rides that were soon to debut in the parks. Many of these didn’t yet have concrete opening times….
Ever wonder what’s in a bloggers Disney bag? When we first moved here I was constantly forgetting something. It took me a while to figure out exactly what I needed to bring with me. And because I carry these things around with me all day (Disney bags can get heavy!), every item has to earn…
It’s finally here! There hasn’t been a castle show on the forecourt stage since Dream Along with Mickey ended back in April. I hadn’t even realized how much I’d missed having one. The new show, called Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire”, debuted Friday, June 17th. It’s performed several times a day, and you could argue that there…
Planning a trip to Walt Disney World? If you are, the number one thing that you must be aware of is that a Park Pass is required for every day you visit Disney World. In order to book a park pass, you will use the Disney Park Pass system. It’s really easy, but there are…
